Business Analyst

We are urgently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join our client located in Brussels, Belgium. Our client is in the public sector. This is a 220 days contract, due to start from 01/04/2016.

2. Summary of Tasks:
- This request aims at finding a Business Analyst to help the DG developing its Knowledge Management, by enriching the content of the platforms through a thorough analysis of the Knowledge assets, process and procedures of the DG.
- The mission will include the inventory of the assets, modelling of the assets, analysis and modelling of the Business Processes/Procedures in which they intervene, description and capture of the processes and procedures in the adequate tools (eg Process Navigator).
- In particular, the mission will be focused in building the - Internal Management- pillar of REGIO's taxonomy, which will include all internal procedures of the DG.

3. WORK METHODS:
- This is an onsite role.

4. PROFILE DETAILS:
- Management and performance of all activities related t- the analysis and modelling of the Business Processes/Procedures related to the Knowledge Assets to be included in the KM related platform and systems;
- Coordination of Business Process activities described above, with the DG's units' concerned and IT Unit;
- The Business Process Modelling and definition of the detailed procedures, could also include the following activities:

o Writing of Business Cases;
o Writing of User requirements, functional specifications;
o Review of the IT deliverables for their conformance to the Business/User requirements;
o Maintenance and refinement of the Knowledge documentation (Inventory, Taxonomy, meta-data, Policy documents, methodologies, etc.);
o Maintenance of the KM Organisation model, governance, roles and responsibilities, including its implementation in the related KM platforms and systems;
o Integration/interfacing or input in the Process Navigator, the DG's tool for formal procedure's definition;
o Wiki page design and wire framing;
- Ensure Support for KM-related users, regarding business process/procedure matters.

6. SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
- Minimum a total of 9 years in either Change Management in the organisations, Knowledge Management or Business Process Modelling.

7. LANGUAGES
- The consultant has to be fluent in English and French.
- Documents will be written in English.
