Main Task:
-We are looking for a Business Analyst/Programmer who contributes to a global team that is accelerating biological science
Requirements:
-A background in natural sciences (Bachelor, Masters or PhD in biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, chemistry, physics, or pharmacy) and/or Computer Science
-At least two years of experience developing and supporting Java software
-Good written, visual, oral, and online communication skills (English a must, German a plus)
-Strong self-motivation and ability to learn new skills as needed
Technical knowledge:
-Required: Java, Spring, Oracle,
-Nice to have: Maven, Tomcat, Hibernate, Jira, FishEye, Confluence, SVN, CID (Continuous Integration)
Nice to have:
-Fundamental principles for web application development
-Java/Javascript intercommunication and Javascript API development
-Javascript MVVM frameworks (knockout, angular)
-Formal experience as a Business Analyst
-Wet lab experience in a molecular biology lab
