Business Analyst

Are you a dynamic Business Analyst with knowledge and experience gathering and drafting new financial surveillance information systems.

If so, one of my clients located in Paris is urgently recruiting for an English speaking Business Analyst, preferably with some French.

This is a 160 + days contract.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Draft and update test plan and test specification
- Test internally according to business specifications
- Prepare and animate training seminar with all external stakeholders
- Coordinate with external IT provider during specification and test phases
- Support to internal business users during their test phase
- Support to National competent authorities during their test phase and at the go-live
- Assist the project manager in planning activities and reasoned decision making
- Organizes workshops and co-ordination of project stakeholders, taking into account the
- data and information required for this activity and the project schedule

Education and qualifications:
- University degree (BSc) in computer science, computer engineering or business administration or proven ability to perform the tasks commensurate with such a formal academic qualification
- Professional training or certificate related to testing is an asset

Knowledge and skills/Essential requirements:
- Very good command of English with proven drafting ability;
- Knowledge and experience in both functional analysis/specification and testing complex IT system is mandatory for both BAs;
- Analytical skills and a pragmatic problem-solving orientation;
- Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and best practice (such as ITIL)
- Excellent knowledge in using Microsoft applications, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Knowledge in XML documents and XSD schemes
- Experience in using JIRA or a defect tracking tool
- Interpersonal skills: customer orientation, self-motivation, the ability to work in a team
- Excellent personal and professional behavior, ownership of an assigned task

Advantageous requirements:
- Experience in project aiming at collecting high volume of data
- Experience in coordinating several business users teams, data providers and external IT provider in a complex multinational and administrative environment
- Knowledge in Regulatory financial environment
- Knowledge in asset management
