Business Analyst

This is a great opportunity for you. You will be involved in a major program, which aims to achieve compliance of the bank with the BCBS-239 standard in line with the regulators requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Member of the BCBS-239 data lineage team, responsible to document all relevant risk measures of the bank to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Analyze and document the risk reporting landscape in Private Banking
- Work with SMEs to elicit and document as is business processes, data flows, system landscapes and investigate risk measures along BCBS 239 criteria
- Collaborate closely with IT resources to document data flows on physical level
- Analyze and document data quality issues and contribute to the definition of remediation activities
- Working independently under the guidance of a senior project lead and the responsible work stream lead.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Minimum 7 years business analysis experience within a financial services company
- Strong experience documenting business processes and data flows
- Strong experience documenting business processes and understanding underlying business/operating models of various PBWM businesses
- Experience with BCBS-239 or other regulatory initiatives
- Experience in data modelling and data lineage
- Effective stakeholder management, experience in facing senior business stakeholders
- Able to efficiently run workshops with business stakeholders to document business processes and equally proficient collaborating with IT experts to document technical details
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with modelling tools like Enterprise Architect
- well versed analysing SQL code
- proficient in MS Excel
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken) good German language skill is a big plus
