Business Analyst

For our banking client we are currently looking for a Business Analyst for the CCAR program:

START: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Location: Zürich

Job profile: Risk Strategic Change (RSC) supports the business division Chief Risk Officers and the Firm Wide Risk functions with best-in-class services to effectively and efficiently deliver Change-the-Bank projects. Acting as the essential conduit between business stakeholders in Risk and the IT delivery functions, at various levels of seniority and across geographical locales.

Key responsibilities:

- Drive and coordinate the delivery of Market Risk relevant IT and process changes
- Understand and analyse the business cases and requirements, propose solutions
- Work with the Functional Architects and other Business Analysts to ensure the solutions proposed are fit for purpose
- Assist IT in technical design and implementation. Ensure the IT delivery satisfies the business needs and requirements
- Provide strategic view on the design and project planning
- Identify opportunities for IT and process improvements
- Design and implement business processes that effectively complement the developed technology
- Assist IT and business in defining test cases and acceptance criteria
- Support testing participants in investigations and follow up on issues and queries
- Facilitate and support the transition of Change Program into run-the-bank
- Keep all stakeholders and working group members informed of the projects and their progresses

Key requirements:
- Strong analytical skills
- Previous business analysis experience in Risk Control in finance services industry
- Familiar with key risk concepts and measures across asset classes
- Good knowledge of IT and banking processes
- Motivated and be able to work independently
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient at MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
