Business Analyst

BUSINESS ANALYST

SKILLS: Requirements Gathering, JAD sessions, dashboarding, SLA definition, Strong Analytical skills, Excellent Written/Verbal skills including Facilitation, Agile/Scrum

This is an IMMEDIATE contract need with a healthcare IT company in the Perimeter.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Assisting industry consultants to define routing, permissions, assignments and status transitions for Payment Inquiry, Operational Inquiries, Policy Inquiries, Report Requests, Research Requests, Test File Requests, Project Requests and Miscellaneous (Internal & client generated)
-Determine internal routing and internal SLA requirements
-Develop Notification Templates for internal/external, acknowledgement/response for each inquiry type
-Identify operational SLA requirements (default and client specific)
-Define view requirements for dashboards
-Define attachment requirements
-Define Onshore/Offshore Access Requirements
-Determine Onshore/Offshore Availability Requirements (work hours & holiday schedules)
-Review existing field level data and identify any gaps
-Define audit trail requirements
-Document performance and availability standards
-Define Knowledge base requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in technology or health administration
-Experience working in a business or systems analyst role on high visibility projects within application development
- Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions or JAD sessions 
-Ability to write clear business communications and solutions specifications
-Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology specifically including understanding of Agile methodology
-Ability to facilitate detailed data discussions on technical scenarios and determine the best fit software solution
-Experience working in the health insurance industry (preferred)
-Experience with software testing (preferred)
