Business Analyst

My client in Belgium is looking for Business Analyst to work on the requirements for Technical Services as defined in the Technical Service Catalogue. You will be responsible for the analysis and documentation keeping an eye on the technical constrains and potential evolution of existing systems. Follow-up of the relevant subject during development and deployment phases. Participation to prototyping (as Business Analyst or up to software development if applicable) as a means to better elicitate requirements, to provide coaching and support on Requirements Management process, methodology - To provide training and support to the Team, Elicitiation and elaboration of requirements taking into account systems architecture, design and technical constraints for FBs of the Releases, Development/maintenance of service requirements according to internal processes (mainly RAP and PM) in HP ALM, Migration of existing requirements and models to the new requirements management tool, provision of training for internal stakeholders, ie high level description of relevant topics. FB, Functional Block; a set of user requests grouped in a project within an Release, PM, Project Management, RAP, Requirements and Architecture process Definition.

You need to have at least 3 years' experience as business analyst of large mission critical systems, work in large software development projects, knowledge of one or more of the following domains: Flight planning, Flow management, Airspace information. Strong competences in working with requirement management systems and modelling tools such as HP-ALM and Enterprise Architect.

Advanced competences and experience in requirements analysis and use case modelling using techniques such as Volere. Very good interpersonal skills to communicate with the stakeholders (users, architects, developers, testers, support teams. Very good technical writing and presentation skills.

Ideally you will have solid and proven business analyst experience in several of the following domains: Safety critical systems, high availability systems, Real Time, mission critical systems, data architecture, Datamodelling, DB tools, DB design (Oracle, SQL). Knowledge of Requirements Management tools like HP-ALM. Knowledge of Modelling tools like EA. Proficiency with MS Office tools (PPT, Excel, Word, Visio). Technical and professional competences. Ability to write technical documents in English.

This is a 12 months contract based in Brussels, candidate must be available immediately for a F2F interview.
