Business Analyst - Banking/Financial Services

A major Financial Services client is looking to take a contractor to join a team undertaking complex business analysis to enable the organisation deliver the required business change whilst adhering to all appropriate governance. The role holder will be expected to understand how their deliverables will help the business achieve its goals and be able to pull requirements and documentation together.

These roles would be suitable for candidates with experience of working as a Business Analyst within sectors such as Financial Services, Utilities, Retail, IT Services, Manufacturing or Pharmaceuticals (regulated environments).

Essential Skills:

- Specialist knowledge of business analysis and of industry best practice
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills, up to Function Leader level, being able to manage differing requirements across the business and manage any conflict
- Strong knowledge and experience of Business Analyst tools and techniques
- In-depth experience of solution development, requirements management and process analysis on medium to large projects
- In depth knowledge and experience in the use of appropriate life cycle methodologies
- Strong member/customer focus and ability to promote this same focus and culture across the wider team
- Thorough knowledge of project governance and risk management frameworks
- Strong focus on initiating and leading continuous improvement
- Strong level of planning and organising skills
