We are looking for a well-rounded Business Analyst for one of our Banking and Investment clients in Zurich. We are looking for a Business Anlyst with business process engineering experience, preferably someone who has worked on similar initiatives (eg Information security, 2 Factor Authentication, credential management, building access management systems etc.), available to start immediately for 3-4 Months.
Responsibilities:
*Translating existing documentation/conversations into process maps/diagrams
*Is responsible to contribute to a positive team spirit
Tasks:
*Review and update approx. 25 existing processes for logical and physical access
*Attend workshops/meetings and ensure process related outcomes are documented in process
Maps/diagrams
*Produce final process maps/diagrams for syndication with senior stakeholders
Authorities:
*Acts independently within own area of expertise and executes her/his functions and tasks
Requirements:
*Excellent communication and fluent English language skills
*Self-starter who does not require close supervision
*Experience with similar initiatives (eg Information security, 2 Factor Authentication, credential management, building access management systems etc.)
*Strong analytical skills
*Strong attention to detail
*Ability to consolidate multiple processes into a single process
*Good MS Office skills (Word, Powerpoint), and in particular Visio
*Able to travel for short periods within Europe
General description:
A Business Analyst analyses any business related processes that include banking, organizational, application- related and other operational processes and procedures and develops proposals for change or enhancement. This role would typically be found in a project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Information gathering activities such as surveying, analysing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data
* Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
* Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements documents
* Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management
* Coordinating the work of more Junior Analysts

* Recommendations for improvements, solutions and respective implementation plans
