Business Analyst

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Department supports the customer operations division and CC&B.
Provide day-to-day client support including ad hoc CC&B data requests, and diagnostics as necessary to ensure optimal performance
Monitor and coordinate activities to manage operational performance, make recommendations for improvement and implement change
Track, maintain, analyze and provide current information on the operation's business scorecard or key performance indicators
Prepare and analyze comprehensive and detailed reports
Develop, organize and present detailed performance reports for internal and external use
Provide expert analytical and operational support to the business unit
Make changes to SQL
Will be responsible for developing SQL queries to address issues and configuration changes in CC&B
Will work closely with IT to make sure that changes made in CC&B go as planned once the changes go live
Will be responsible for training/assisting other coworkers in the department who may not have as strong of SQL skills
Take data from SQL bring to Excel and manipulate data
Run batch billing process
Access Management for CC&B DB

SKILLS:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate Degree preferred
Strong SQL skills against Object Orientated database
Strong Excel skills
Strong analytical skills
Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Visio
Ability to provide in-depth analysis and apply customer intelligence gathering, forecasting, scheduling, analytical and statistical problem solving, financial, business and budget analysis
CC&B experience or other Oracle database experience preferred
Utility experience preferred but not a must
Flexible schedule
Some (minimal) OT may be required. Contractor will work on a rotating on call weekend schedule once every 5 weeks.
