Business Analyst

Your role will be to contribute to ICT project deliverables, as directed by the Senior Project Manager including assisting with the creation of planning, design, deployment and handover materials and supporting the change management strategy.

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Contributing to the delivery of functional/technical/business solution requirements, business process maps, use cases, test cases, test scripts and user support materials
- Cultivating relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
- Eliciting clinical and non-clinical requirements from business subject matter experts
- Providing technical input, analysis and advice to determine an appropriate business solution, responding to business requirements
- Leading business stakeholders in the re-design of business processes and document "as is" and "to be" business processes
- Undertaking business analysis to assess impacts of the implemented solution (change management
- Organising and participating in relevant quality assurance activities (business process verification, system testing)
- Facilitate workshops and meetings, including negotiating persuasively and effectively all stakeholders
- Assisting in the maintenance of project controls (such as budget, risk, scope, and benefits)
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of national and international health record standards, trends and directions

As the successful applicant, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in supporting information technology projects and delivering change in a multidisciplinary environment, with the ability to deliver outputs and meet agreed deadlines
- 3-5 years of experience in project teams and at least 3 years of experience in information technology or 5 years of experience in a healthcare related field
- Demonstrated experience in the management of a health record service and an understanding of the use of health records as they relate to clinical processes
- Demonstrated understanding of the use of electronic health records and the ability of electronic health records to contribute to improved outcomes for patients and more efficient business and clinical processes
- Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills with particular knowledge of health record management principles and electronic health record systems, within a hospital environment
- Demonstrated high level communication skills, both oral and written, in a complex and diverse organisation
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player.
