BACKGROUND:
My Client, a large financial institution, has an opportunity for a Business Analyst role on a 6 month contract, based in Dublin
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Main function of the role is to support the financial services group in a programme of strategic change and continuous improvement
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Stakeholder engagement and detailed requirements analysis including workshop facilitation, documentation and overseeing actions through to completion
- Defining and documenting solutions and completing proof of concept/testing to support decision making
- Creating all project documentation to a high standard
- Driving the implementation of the solutions
- Define the migration/implementation plan
- Integrate new processes into BAU teams and functions
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- 5 years' experience in the financial sector with a focus on Business Change, Project and Analytics
- Skilled user of MS Office suite
- Knowledge of SQL would be an advantage
- Understanding of Change or Project Management methodologies (PMBOK, Six Sigma, SDLS etc)
- Communication and influencing skills
- Problem solving skills - particularly under pressure
- Ability to manage mulit and sometimes conflicting priorities
