Business Analyst

I have a fantastic contract opportunity with a growing Financial Services organisation in Sydney's CBD.

This is a role working on a brand new project which involves the creation of a brand new Software Product from design through to implementation. There will not be a huge team of Business Analysts to support this work therefore it is an excellent opportunity to get full exposure to the SDLC for this software platform.

You will be required to perform all Business Analyst functions as follows:

- Gathering of robust requirements from relevant stakeholders
- Participate and run requirement gathering workshops
- Understand and reviewing of other requirements
- Translating existing requirements into functional specifications
- Take ownership of the ad-hoc system changes (managing some technical changes)
- Participation in System testing (including writing test scripts)

To be successful in the role you will have:

- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within IT (large projects)
- Multiple years experience in system testing
- Financial services experience, specifically Superannuation
- Advanced experience in System Analysis and Technical Business Analysis
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience in Registry System Functionality
- Top of the line communication skills
- Possess a can do attitude and willingness to add value straight away
