Business Analyst

Harvey Nash is looking for a Business Analyst for a 6 month project in Switzerland.

The role is for a candidate with the ability and experience to facilitate standardization of key data entities with a focus on Clinical Operations and Regulatory Affairs. Data standardization will include alignment of semantics, list of values, relationships and ownership. This will be followed by impact analysis on business process and systems, and lead to the implementation of relevant changes.

You are responsible for

- Understanding the flow of key data across the Pharma Development system landscape
- Understanding and further developing the MODS methodology
- Developing solid understanding of projects collaborating with MODS
- Collaborating with business and informatics stakeholders to understand and document requirements for data standards
- Feeding discussion from various projects back into the MODS team
- Helping coordinate impact analysis across solutions and processes
- Driving system and process changes
- Monitoring data quality
- Promoting importance of data standards to the wider organization

Requirements

- Experience in enterprise information management, master data management as well as business analysis concepts preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Flexibility to adapt to an evolving MODS process
- Passion for data
- Attention to detail
- Ability to understand new processes and concepts, to link business processes with technical capabilities
- Strong listening skills, customer orientation and communication skills
- Project management skills
- Exposure to Datamodelling and experience working with RDF and Semantic Web development tools (eg. Top Braid Composer) a plus
- Experience and comfortable working in a global project environment
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
