Business Analyst

At what is a time of significant growth for the Society, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to gather information and apply structured analysis to business initiatives/problems.

As a Business Analyst you will create and present Business Requirement Documents that encapsulate a business community's targeted problem and determines the objective for a project to solve that business problem.

Your other key duties will include but not limited to;

To assist with the initiation and planning stages of projects upon which the job holder has conducted the analysis and to support the development, testing and implementation phases of the project
Liaise with the appropriate business teams to discuss requirements, ensuring that objectives and aims of each project are clearly identified
Acquire factual information, apply problem solving and analysis techniques to ensure project decisions are made on the basis of sound facts and clear customer and project requirements
Evaluate business requirements, providing value judgement and decision making within the initial phases of the project, but supporting the project team throughout the whole project life cycle
Contribute to project post implementation reviews, in conjunction with the Project Manager for each project to ensure that project objectives have been fully met

Are able to demonstrate business analysis skills and attributes to a solid level in a dynamic business environment
Are able to communicate and influence a wide-ranging audience
Are creative and self-directed with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Have the ability to adapt communication skills and techniques to meet the needs of the audience
Have good analytical problem solving skills and able to comfortably multitask
Have proven experience working on projects - knowledge of the project life cycle
Have business Analysis qualification eg ISEB (desirable)
