Bank of America Merrill Lynch currently have a requirement for a Business Analyst to work within their security change team based in Leopardstown, Dublin 18.

Job Description
Requirement for an experienced Business Analyst to work as part of a project team on high profile projects within the Securities Change Team based in Dublin. Primarily focused on system decommissioning, you will be expected co-ordinate analysis activities, perform analysis, gather and document requirements and participate in validating and testing the resulting solution.

This exciting role is well suited to individuals with a keen interest in investment banking. It offers opportunities to learn about operations in banking as well the opportunity to work with and learn from technologists and business professionals who are experienced in delivering successful large scale solutions.

Role/Responsibilities
* Perform business process analysis and documentation including providing process improvement recommendations. Workflow design, including process modelling, and documentation
* Analyse supporting system data
* Co-ordinate analysis activities with support teams
* Produce all relevant project documentation
* Attending various regular project-related meetings, and summarise discussions where appropriate
* Provide assistance to co-ordinate regular working group meetings and contribute to project meetings, providing minutes and actions where appropriate
* Maintain strong communications among and between team members and business team
* Work as part of a team within Securities Change Team

Essential Skills
* Previous experience in business analysis and process mapping.
* Proven ability to work on own initiative in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
* Hands on approach required with ability to multi-task/prioritise tasks along with demonstrable pragmatic decision making capability.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to communicate efficiently are paramount.
* Strong Microsoft Excel, Visio and Word skills
* Degree/Masters or equivalent by experience
* Excellent organisational skills
* Experience of all aspects of the project life cycle
