My Dublin based Financial Client has a new requirement for a skilled Business Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an excellent role on a 6 month contract basis. The daily rate is dependent on experience and suitability to the role.
- Minimum 5 years' experience of working in an IT systems delivery environment
- Experience in analysing and mapping current business processes with a view to process improvement and/or re-engineering using best practice methodologies.
- Experience in the analysis and implementation of portfolio management, fund management or accounting projects in a major financial institution(s).
- Experience in producing structured systems project documentation, in line with recognised best practice methodologies, to include the development of business requirements documents and functional specifications.
- Experience in requirements gathering and facilitating business requirements workshops with key business stakeholder groups
- Experience on projects involving interfaces between Legacy and new applications.
- Excellent communication, listening and observation skills and an effective team player that can also work on own initiative.
- Experience in implementing risk and performance management systems
- Experience and certification in an industry recognised project management methodology, eg PRINCE2 or similar.
- Exposure in all phases of a structured software development life cycle (SDLC); eg systems analysis, design, build/test and deployment (including deployment planning, implementation and post deployment integration.)
- Experience in the planning and execution of data migration from existing systems to new systems.
- Masters or bachelor degree in computing/engineering or equivalent 3rd level numerate qualification
