Business Analyst

My client, a Government Department based in North Ryde has a need for several Business Analyst's to join the organisation starting in July 2014.

The role will involve Business Analyst's supporting the Employment Systems group on a range of Employment Services Programmes project work.

The successful applicant will be required to:

- Gather requirements using tried and tested Business Analysis techniques and critically evaluate the requirements to determine the true needs
- Effectively liaise between the Business users and development team to determine application and operational requirements.
- Document excellent requirement specifications to be used across a range of different business areas.
- Get involved with future planning and actively contribute to continuous improvements in the business area
- Effectively manage and coordinate involvement between IT, Business groups and SME's
- Engage all stakeholders to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met
- Contribute to business process modelling

To be considered for this role you will possess:

- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst with project exposure within an application development environment
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written skills
- Well developed documentation skills for writing clear and concise business requirements
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage changes to business requirements, and priorities
- An ability to work within tight timeframes
- Proven experience in working collaboratively within a team to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines
