Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
Responsible for generation of production metrics, while providing analysis on trends to drive more informed business decisions for the plant.
Collect, review, and analyze department reports to ensure strategic goals and objectives are being met.
Provide department leaders with production information and analysis data as requested.
Drive the budget process to ensure timely, effective and realistic budgets are being submitted.
Work on project teams and provide data and metrics as necessary for review and evaluation.

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
May require a Bachelor's degree in a related area and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Strong Excel background is critical, including spreadsheet creation and pivot table building.
Access database creation and manipulation a plus.
