Business Analyst

Our client in Lawrenceville, GA is looking for a Business Analyst for an exciting opportunity. As a Business Analyst, you will serve as an advocate for the customer community (internal and external customers). Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

As a Business Analyst responsibilities include:
Develops functional requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process mapping, use cases, scenarios, analytical review, and other tools as necessary to provide a complete requirement definition utilizing a standardized FRD template.
Identifies and resolves conflicts as required to meet project deadlines and schedules.
Researches and recommends new technologies to solve business process inefficiencies
Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing. Defines and documents test conditions and scenarios that can be utilized on a repeatable basis.
Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing an escalation point to help desk support, and training users.
Works independently and under direction of management to meet with users to define concepts and priorities. Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong process management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Business Analyst Required Experience and Skills:
Undergraduate or technical degree in a related discipline
4 to 5 years of business experience, ideally in a continuous improvement or process analysis role.
Demonstrated experience in the use of process design tools and techniques. Capable of basic financial and/or operational analysis.
Superior written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and capable of taking a leadership role to facilitate analysis, definition, and problem resolution.
Understands and applies basic Internet, ERP, and Client Server architectures to process improvement recommendations. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
