Business Analyst

A government department at Canberra seeks the services of an experience Business Analyst to:

Analyse and elucidate identified business requirements in conjunction with Business representatives;

Engage and manage stakeholders throughout the life cycle of the project ensuring that the appropriate expectations are set and managed, and that these are relative to the project scope

Specify business and functional requirements via use cases, functional requirement specifications, or other appropriate means.

Liaise with Business and Technical staff to ensure the documented solution is implemented in such a way to achieve documented benefits.

Liaise with testing staff to ensure solutions are rigorously tested and any deficiencies fixed before implementation;

Assist with or conduct training of business staff in operation of identified solution/s.

Assist the Project Manager to ensure that the project produces the required products (including Project Management products), to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost;

Assist the Project Manager to ensure that the project products are capable of achieving the benefits stipulated in the agreed business case;

Provide reports to the Project Manager on progress and 

Plan and monitor allocated tasks;

Australian Citizenship and a Baseline Security Clearance is highly Desirable.

The contract duration is from 24th March, 2014 to end June 2014 with extension possibilities upto end June 2016.
