Business Analyst

We are working with a Federal Government organisation to source several Business Analysts for contracts until 30 June 2014.

Your architectural experience will be vital in pushing critical projects forward to meet tight time frames.

DUTIES:

- Develop a sound understanding of the requirements of assigned projects and develop appropriate project management documentation to support achievement of objectives
- Work with business areas to identify functional requirements and schedule activity as required
- Maintain a strong customer focus and work productively and proactively with clients and Information Division
- Prepare reports, documentation and participate in project management meetings
- Interact with the organisation's Prince 2 based project methodologies

SKILLS:

- Business analysis with a background in/familiarity with ICT architecture principles
- Business analysis experience in a complex business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and to budget
- Agility and flexibility and able to navigate complex provider/customer relationships
- Experience with analysis, mapping and documentation of business context, processes, information requirements and information flows.
- Familiarity with project delivery within a predominantly Microsoft operating environment.
- Desirable - experience with designing grants management solutions.
- Desirable - experience with upgrading Legacy systems to meet current operational environments.
