Business Analyst

Fresh start to the new year with a new job as a BUSINESS ANALYST for Australian Federal Government agency.

This role is initially to 30 June 2014.

To be considered for the position, you MUST hold a CURRENT NV1/SECRET clearance with the Australian Federal Government.

Work with a Project Manager to deliver to TIGHT timeframes, please have examples available where you have done this before and within a 40 hour working week.

Be responsible for gathering business requirements within a shared services environment. As such, you will be required to demonstrate professional communication skills both written and oral.

Any Prince 2 experience would be highly regarded.

- Work with multiple business areas to identify, confirm and document 'as is' business processes.
- Collaborate with the business owners and project stakeholders to identify possible business process improvement opportunities.
- Implement and maintain appropriate document version control and configuration management regimes.
- Maintain a strong customer focus.
- Contribute positively and proactively to the team.
- Elicit stakeholder requirements and covey these to a diverse readership.
- Prepare reports and present finding to large audiences.

SELECTION CRITERIA DUE BEFORE 24 JANUARY 2014.

This includes demonstrating experience within federal government and enterprise sites (complex business environment) and analysis, mapping. Documentation of business process, information flows and EI.

Rate to be $80ph + GST or less through Pty Ltd with insurances.
