A temporary contact opportunity has arisen for an assistant manager required for the Financial Statements Team within Finance Business Services; the team's core responsibility is the preparation of the annual financial statements of approximately 250 subsidiaries.
The opportunity would suit a motivated individual, capable of working proactively as part of a team, who takes ownership for their deliverables. Applicants should have good communication skills (both written and oral), be proficient in the use of MS Office applications and either already has strong accounting skills (eg including IFRS knowledge).
The successful candidate will be accountancy qualified but as a minimum have previous experience of the Companies Act financial statements process (eg financial statements preparation and liaison with external auditors and other relevant stakeholders).
