Business Analyst

Yoh has a long term immediate contract opportunity for a BUSINESS ANALYST with our client in Norristown, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

- Researches and reviews the projects' scope in order to understand why the project has been initiated.
- Demonstrates a high level of working knowledge with IS methodologies and processes (ie Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process).
- Gathers detailed requirements that completely define the project.
- Creates high-level models and user prototype interfaces to identify and validate business processes and solutions when appropriate.
- Communicate requirements with minimal direction and guidance. Acts as the liaison between the business experts and the project team members.
- Facilitates business/functional requirement review, approval, and sign-off sessions.
- Prepares and delivers effective presentations to upper management.
- Identifies solutions to the development and technical team based on approved business and functional requirements.
- Participates in technical requirements and design sessions.
- Conducts and directs end-user testing responsibilities and tasks with minimal guidance from consultant staff, manager or project managers.
- Interfaces with members of the installation team, technology and user support groups, vendors, and vendor management under the direction of the consultant staff and/or manager.
- Administers communication activities with end-user training for system implementation.
- Acts as coach, mentor, and advisor to less experienced Business Analysts.
- Assists with training and orientation of less experienced Business Analysts and project team members.
- Drive the projects from Discovery/Initiation phase to Implementation phase independently.
- Develops and execute test plans and test new or modified software for reliability and accuracy.

Job Qualifications:

- Sr. BA consultant with ten (10) to twelve (12) years of experience
- Must have a high level of working knowledge with IS methodologies and processes (ie Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process).
- Extensive experience gathering detailed requirements
- Experience preparing and delivering effective presentations to upper management
- Must be proficient as a test engineer, able to create test strategy, test plans, test cases, execute system testing, working with business to perform UAT
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be local or willing to relocate at his/her own expense
