Business Analyst

This position has responsibility for the development of business focused documentation that clarifies the business model and requirements for a fast paced, dynamic business unit. The successful candidate will be able to work independently within broad guidelines to contribute to the definition of multiple projects within a newly formed program team. This will involve working with business stakeholders, project managers, systems architects and other groups as required, to identify and document requirements and assist in the development of system specifications.

DUTIES:

- Chair a number of requirements management working groups involving key stakeholders
- Manage the program business requirements
- Work with stakeholders, and define and document operational concepts and business system needs
- Map business processes
- Support discussions on business improvement
- Support the development of tender documentation
- Support the development of business system testing documentation
- Mentor other project team staff in requirement management procedures.

SKILLS:

- Experience in business system requirements definition and documentation
- Knowledge of IT systems design and development processes
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Administrative skills, including time management
- Ability to effectively prioritise and allocate tasks
- Ability to successfully manage all working relationships.
