Business Analyst

Business Analyst required for a major financial services organisation to focus on driving cost savings and support decision making by applying statistical and profitability modelling:

- Financial Analysis
- Regression analysis
- Sourcing Analytics

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Financial Analysis: Insuring the accuracy of financial reporting and transforming financial data into useful information.
- Regression analysis: Customer analysis, profitability modelling and 'what -if scenario' modelling are examples of the types of analysis required.
- Sourcing Analytics: Working closely with Management Information Systems (MIS) collecting and interpretation of historical sales data and customer behaviour data for targeted customer segments

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Expertise in strategic business analysis.
- Excellent abstract, analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Aptitude in displaying and communicating data analysis
- Comfortable working with ambiguity. Flexible, ability to adapt to change quickly
- Experience in manipulating large datasets
- Advanced understanding of financial statistics and modelling.
- Strong background in Operational, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Statistical-related area with data management and analysis experience
- Advanced Access, Excel and PowerPoint
