Business Analyst

As our Business Analyst your in-depth understanding of product development, software development and data analysis will allow you to have  great success implementing strategies and solutions at Client Inc. You will consult with internal and external customers to gather requirements, scope the most effective solution, write requirements, and work with the development team to manage implementation. It is your responsibility to ensure that implementation moves forward as scheduled to a successful  outcome.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with external and internal customers to translate user needs into product definitions and requirements
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs and program functions
- Identify, develop, and document business processes and requirements
- Analyze system and process issues and recommend strategies to resolve issues
- Generate reports and data analysis findings
- Review and identify process and system enhancements
- Effectively operates in a team environment, focused on solutions

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Information Systems Management,
- Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3+ years Business or System Analyst experience
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Proven track record of developing accurate product requirements
- Experience working successfully with executive stakeholders on mission-critical strategic application development projects.
- Experience with web development projects.
- Strong data collection and analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid  understanding  of  SQL, relational  database  concepts,  and  Client Server concepts.

PLUSSES:

Mobile application development projects, Agile experience, Visio, SQL, Javascript, DB2, Data Modeling, and Java are plusses.
