Business Analyst

A background in mathematics/working with algorithms or GIS technology will enable you to settle into this environment with ease.

Prior experience within a scientific or research oriented environment will be advantageous to your application.

Manage a project to improve the management of software assets within the organisation.

DUTIES:

- Undertake scoping
- Develop workflows
- Define processes for software asset management, including software requests, deploying software and licence management.
- Work across organisational and functional boundaries. Stakeholders will include desktop technicians, finance and contracts staff, business stakeholders and service delivery management.

SKILLS

- Experience with development of IT Service Management processes and implementation;
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to liaise and facilitate discussion at all levels, including Executive and technical;
- Ability to undertake analysis of the business; develop workflows; negotiate; present and articulate analysis outcomes;
- Relevant PM/BA qualifications/certifications.
- Understanding of software asset management, especially in the areas of licensing and software deployment.
- ITIL Certification (desirable)

No security clearance required - possibility exists to secure a baseline clearance after 6 months!
