Edelway is a Swiss IT Services company. Our global banking client in Geneva is now looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join its team on a long term basis.
Only English is required.
Start date: ASAP
THE ROLE:
The role of the Business Analyst is to be involved in all stages of the development life cycle. The candidate will be working in client's Internet global delivery team. You will be the liaison between the Business and IT groups in performing tasks to interpret the business requirements and then link them to the application, ensuring the technical solutions satisfy the business requirements.
YOU WILL:
*Document project scope, identify and resolve key issues and risks.
*Document business processes and communicate potential business and systems impacts based on analysis of the data
*Write functional specifications documents with supporting use case diagrams
*Assist the technical team in understanding and developing the appropriate functionality
*Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders locally and abroad, providing application support, release management, build leads and other project teams.
*Be involved in writing test scripts and analysing test scripts/data to ensure functional requirements have been covered, help with user acceptance testing, sign off, and post-release.
YOUR PROFILE:
*At least 5 years of related work experience. Private Banking experience is a big plus
*Excellent English
*Knowledge of software development methodologies (Waterfall or/and Agile)
*Experience with large and complex projects with distributed development teams
*Very good SQL knowledge
*Ability to interact and direct multi-cultural and geographically diverse teams
*Assist the technical team in understanding and developing the appropriate functionality
*Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders locally and abroad, providing application support, release management, build leads and other project teams.
*Be involved in writing test scripts and analysing test scripts/data to ensure functional requirements have been covered, help with user acceptance testing, sign off, and post-release.
*Attention to detail, high level of accuracy
