The Company

Robert Half Management Resources are currently recruiting for an Interim Business Analyst to identify and analyse business processes, documentation and systems on behalf of a leading Insurance client.

This is a home based role with travel to numerous UK office locations.

The Role

The Business Analyst will be based from home with travel to multiple office locations including: Wakefield and Horsham. You will be required to proactively identify, analyse and document business processes and systems, identify problems and improvements, recommend and work with others to implement solutions and measure effectiveness of improvements.

Our client needs this Business Analyst to produce standardised documents on behalf of a Panel of Insurers. A suite of Documents that can be put out to market and branded based on the requirements you gather from internal and external users.

Proactively identify and resolve business issues to help the firm achieve strategic goals.
Apply appropriate methodologies and work across the business to analyse requirements, challenge and improve business processes and assess the operational and technical impact on the business.
Provide business analysis throughout the whole life cycle - requirements gathering, requirements analysis, writing functional specifications, development support and testing, through to implementation and measuring business improvements.
Recommend actions that will overcome business problems, achieve business benefits or increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Document new or amended business processes and assist the business through the implementation phase.
Build and maintain key relationships throughout the business, working closely with project managers and other colleagues to deliver effective solutions.
Capture post-completion analysis of business improvements, capturing and communicating benefits achieved and lessons learnt.
Act as liaison between the business and technical staff.

The Person

Previous experience within the Insurance industry.
Strong analytical skills, able to think laterally to identify trends and make links between data from different sources.
Excellent commercial awareness with a good understanding of business drivers, service standards and the role of business change in achieving strategic objectives.
A "can do" attitude and proactive approach.
Solutions oriented and keen to take responsibility for delivery of effective solutions.
Experience of business process re-engineering and delivering business change.
Understanding of Agile/business transformation skills (Six Sigma, Lean processes).
Proficient with requirements capture and diagramming tools eg Visio.
Good understanding of how IT systems can be used to improve operational efficiency.
Able to see the bigger picture, but paying close attention to detail in designing and testing a solution.
A confident and professional communicator, able to communicate with confidence and influence effectively at all levels.
Experience in facilitating workshops.

Interim Business Analyst

£300 - £350 per day through Ltd Company
Home based role with travel in UK
