The NCAL Reporting & Analytics workstream of the ICD-10 project has four baselined project plans (3 Legacy applications to be remediated and one business reporting plan) that indicates a required effort of over 17,000 IT hours by from 2012 to 2014.

This position will work in a team with a dedicated project manager and solution consultant, and will engage with other CLIENTIT resources to complete some required efforts (data modelers, DBAs, etc.).
The NCAL ICD-10 Reporting & Analytics workstream has recently taken over the responsibility for the ICD-10 readiness of the CLIENTHC Clarity data repository, which had previously been managed by the NCAL CLIENTHC program.

The CLIENTHC Data Model Conversion demonstrated the intense business need for consulting, documentation, and communication services to prepare Clarity for ICD-10.
Significant solution consulting resource gap exists to complete the necessary requirements gathering, solution design, test plans, test execution, UAT coordination, other documentation, and extensive communication to business users.

Currently, there is a need for a dedicated business consultant to manage, plan, organize, and drive the remediation of IT reporting applications and to create communications for business users that need to remediate their reports, data marts, and reporting tools.

A business consultant with experience in Business Intelligence and data strategy, ICD-10 codes, ICD-9 to ICD-10 mapping, SQL, relational database, application testing, test data management, and report development is required to support the complex tasks and activities.

Deliverables expected from this resource will include:
ICD-10 Remediation Specifications for Clarity and other data sources.
Test Plan/Strategy, Test Cases, and Test Data Plans for reporting systems.
Facilitation of redesign of Clarity custom views, extracts, and reports.
Coordination of business user UAT and Validation of reporting systems.
Analysis, planning, and coordination of regional End-to-End report testing.
CMT to ICD-9 to ICD-10 mapping documentation, tools, and user support.
SQL code review and support for end users that rewrite reports.
Comprehensive Test Data Strategy for reporting to provide adequately robust test data for use by reporting & analytics.

As a Business Analyst you will perform requirement gathering and analysis, data analysis, data mapping, functional design, quality assurance/Testing and documentation for ETL related projects. The individual will be working closely with ETL Leads, Solution Consultants and testing team.

Ideal Candidate will:

- Will have strong hands on technical background (in writing SQL and physical design specs).
- Should have been in roles where they should have done extensive data mapping.
- Should also have extensive testing experience.
- Prior ICD-9 and ICD-10 is preferred, not required.
