Banking Business Analyst

Edelway SA is a Swiss IT Services company.

One of our best client, a prestigious global private bank in Geneva is urgently looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst to join its multicultural and dynamic team in charge of supporting business across three continents.

You will be a key point of contact between the Technology and the business. You will prepare documentation regarding business requirements, functional specification and documentation of release notes and user guides. You will be involved in development and production of project business cases and plans.

This will be a long term opportunity and we will be particularly interested to hear from local candidate or keen to work in Geneva on a long term basis. English only is required.

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6/12/18 months rolling contract

YOU WILL:

* Analyze, document, communicate, and review business requirements.
* Create documentation for product proposals, business and system processes, business requirements and functional specifications.
* Act as liaison between business and software developers to identify and resolve software issues.
* Gather business requirements from various business users in different levels of the organization.
* Communicate Business Requirements to Technical Teams.
* Assist in development of testing plans and scripts.
* Coordinate with the different team to determine appropriate test plans, and ability to help support the product launch.
* Responsible for tracking and documentation of status of projects to IT development management.
* Participate in the user acceptance testing including the supervision and the preparation of use and test cases
* Provide user documentation including the training of new functionalities

YOUR PROFILE:

*Fluent in English.
*At least 5 years of related work experience. Private Banking experience is a plus
*Requires experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modelling concepts within the financial industry
*SQL knowledge, data mining skills, testing and quality centre are a plus
*Communication skills, analytical skills and validation skills
