Business Analyst

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a BUSINESS ANALYST to join our client in near Philadelphia, PA.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Business Analyst is responsible for business process review and data analysis as relates to activities which ensure operational effectiveness. Incumbents will assist Management by analysing data, identifying useful information, recommending and supporting decision making with the goal of departmental improvement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understand the current system and document the processes/rules
- Elicit and Document AS-IS and TO-BE business process flows
- Document Business Rules and Business Process Requirements
- Analyze Rating and Forms Requirements and convert into system requirements
- Document detailed System (Functional, Non Functional, Data, UI) Requirements
- Analyze and Document Integration Requirements to systems supporting various functions
- Work closely with Business, Project Manager, Development and Testing teams for the execution of the project
- Support QA and UAT Testing, Training and product Release
- Experience with Umbrella policies in Property and Casualty industry

Job Qualifications:

- Five to eight (5-8) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or related field
- Five to eight (5-8) years business/financial analysis experience required
- MUST HAVE A BACKGROUND IN INSURANCE

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Experience working in AQS Rating system is a big plus
