Business Analyst

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a BUSINESS ANALYST to join our client in Sacramento, CA.

JOB OVERVIEW:
- The job requires a Senior Business Analyst with advanced capabilities in analysis and design on large scale projects (TCV over $10MM) based on Object Oriented technologies, preferably with the public sector.
- Skills require analysis, production of key requirements documentation, participating in development of design models, collaborating with the development and test teams as explained below

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis of Legacy Systems
- Business process modelling using swim lanes/activity diagrams
- Development of Use Cases /
- Development of comprehensive requirements specification including business, system, functional, reporting and interface requirements, use cases,
- Participate in the Development of requirements traceability Matrix

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in working on large scale public sector projects on Object Oriented technologies with at least three (3) years in analysis and design
- The candidate must be able establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to lead teams of analysts is a big plus.
- Ability to establish traceability using industry standard tools.
- Ability to collaborate and work with the Development teams to establish common requirements understanding to aid in the technical design and development is required
- Ability to collaborate and work with the testing teams to establish common requirements understanding to aid in the development of the test cases and scripts is required.
- Ability to collaborate and provide inputs into the production of domain model and addition design models.
