Business Analyst

For our client we are currently looking for a Business Analyst in Basel, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the business analysis for an Electronic Lab Notebook rollout in Biology
* Partner with scientific end-users and current ELN team members to help analyze scientific needs and support the application (eg end user support, application testing, managing user settings on the Application Server)
* Identify developing mockups and collecting/interpreting data
* Contribute to large-scale global deployment of a technical solution that directly affect a scientists day-to-day job

Basic Qualifications:
* B.S. degree in Computer Science (preferred), Life Sciences or equivalent work experience
* 2+ years of experience in software development/software support of scientific applications in Bio-Pharmaceutical industry/laboratory environments
* Ability to communicate effectively with scientific clients.
* High learning agility, innovation, and problem solving skills.
* Strong written and oral communication skills in English and German

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with IDBS E-WorkBook
* Experience in relational database fundamentals & software development life cycle.
