Business Analyst

My client is a respected Government organisation looking for 2 Business Analyst's to join their team for an initial 3 month contract to start ASAP.

We are looking a strong candidate who can liaise with business representatives, both on and off the project team to produce quality project documentation in line with organisations agreed Project Methodology.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

- Produce quality system and business requirements documentation through workshop facilitation and focus groups
- Drive and manage the process of gathering, agreeing and documenting the business, functional, data and technical requirements in a complex application environment.
- Produce screen site maps and collect data requirements through workshop facilitation and focus groups
- Identify and document data elements and entities during the requirements gathering process. Work with the technical architect to define the physical data model.
- Proven experience in providing business analyst support across the full software development life cycle
- EXPERIENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF WEB-BASED APPLICATIONS IS MANDATORY
- At least 5 years working experience in a similar role
- Experience in using BABOK templates for process documentation is desirable
- Experience working in a large complex environment and/or government sector will be highly regarded
- Experience in developing an application site map and screen flows from business requirements and Business processes.
- Experience with RAD/Agile development process is highly desirable
