Business Analyst

The Client is a dynamic, rapidly growing company based in South Wales delivering cutting edge technology solutions to the leisure travel industry and we are looking for skilled Business / System Analysts to specify on-going changes required on its product portfolio.
You will need a solid business / systems analyst background with experience of working in a fast paced software development environment.

Experience will be required in the following areas :

* Gathering and understanding customer requirements, analyzing there impact to existing applications including identifying new or alternate work flows
* Writing functional specifications capturing functional changes to the system such example use cases, wire frames or screen mock ups to allow development teams to implement
* Working with external and internal stakeholders in the execution of the above
* Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, experience in requirements techniques and tools is also a bonus
* Travel industry knowledge is a particular benefit to any candidate

Skills required:

* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Able to clearly communicate problems.
* Able to define and document clear business and systems requirements.
* Able to derive functional requirements from the business requirements.
* Highly numerate and analytical.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Quick learner
* Knowledge of working in a systems and business analysis role.
* Experienced in defining and documenting current and future processes.
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
