Working on the Business Performance Management team. This position is responsible for building and maintaining the Business Intelligence & reporting solutions that support Claims operations and production management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops relationships and drives satisfaction with our internal customers throughout the claims operation
- Identifies, documents, and refines solution requirements
- Provides hands on support including analysis, enhancements, testing, and remediation of Business Objects reports and queries
- Tracks, manages, and communicates project status
- Works collaboratively to design solutions including reports, dashboards, metrics, and process improvements
- Creates training material and conducts user training
- Directs, designs, develops business analysis & system solutions including: cross department & cross divisional task forces
- Identifying & tracking functional requirements, workflow, information sources & system specifications
- Leads meetings, oversees minutes, decisions documented, cost benefit analysis & project implementations
- Insures successful & timely completion of all required user tasks related to the project
- Responsible for ensuring ongoing provider contract compliance for Claims Administration
- Identifies areas for claims processing efficiencies & increased auto-adjudication
- Also accountable for consistently demonstrating the knowledge, skills, abilities, & behaviors necessary to provide superior & culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, & to purchasers, contracted providers & vendors
QUALIFICATIONS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis & project management that demonstrates competence in translating business processes to systems, tracking & reporting on process improvements, & collaboratively resolving complex business & systems issues
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, health care, computer science, or related area
- Minimum of 2 years experience creating reports & queries in Business Objects
- Must have excellent oral & written communication skills, as well as, possess strong interpersonal skills w/the ability to develop strong relationships w/both internal & external customers
- In addition, strong influencing skills w/the ability to secure agreement & action w/multiple levels of management & employees required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of project leader experience preferred
- Cognos experience preferred
- Healthcare background and claims processing experience preferred
