Business Analyst

My client is a respected Government organisation looking for a Business Analyst to join their team for a long term contract.

The Senior Business Analyst will be required to work with the Project Manager & become involved in other projects as required. You will be responsible for managing the market testing and options analysis, design and procurement, and market tender and contract negotiation stages.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

- Develop the business requirements in the analysis phase (creation of business requirements, data model and other documentation)
- Liaise with internal business units including legal and procurement branches, and external vendors during this market testing and procurement process
- Gather and document business requirements and workflow/process diagrams, and formulate project briefs and other supporting documentation for the relevant Project Boards/Business Sponsors
- Ensure appropriate communication to senior executives and business sponsors around program status and issues
- Liaise and communicate with the business sponsor and content experts around the state to ensure that business needs are met and issues are resolved.
- Degree in IT systems or a business related discipline
- More than 5 years experience as a Business Analyst
- Highly regarded - PRINCE2, PMBOK or PMP
