I am currently looking for an experienced BUSINESS ANALYST to work on a 6 month extendable contract for a market leading client of mine in JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA.
Due to project demands, consultants with valid work authorization for SOUTH AFRICA will be preferred.
The role is for a BUSINESS ANALYST with strong analytical (business and data) skills to work on high profile Customer internal program. This program will develop the new Instant Messaging product to be deployed across Customers firm wide globally (200k users).
This role will be responsible for documenting customization requirements and act as an interface lead for internal development teams. This role will also be responsible for providing a rollout analysis to allow planning and provide floor walking and training to users.
DUTIES -
- Document customisation requirements for the different business units.
- Facilitate data analysis on IM usage across current solutions to aid Migration planning
- Provide floor walking and user training to users post rollout.
- Act as an interface for development teams.
- Provide rollout analysis.
REQUIREMENTS - - Strong technical aptitude with history of working on DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS (using either WATERFALL and AGILE methodology)
- Strong computer skills with advanced capabilities using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, MS Projects, Visio, Access
- Advanced manipulating excel to produce metrics, pivot tables, charts, etc
- Proficient with MSProject for plan creations/maintaining
- Proficient with MS Powerpoint for the creation of presentations
PERSON SPEC - - Formal BA training/qualifications
- Excellent business and Data analytical skills
- Proven experience working on Global Programs with full development life cycle
- Proven ability to meet tight timelines
- Successfully manages delivery of both long and short term deadlines
- Strong computer skills with advanced capabilities using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, MS Projects, Access ( Preferred skills in Sparx Enterprise and SQL)
- Advanced manipulating excel to produce metrics, pivot tables, charts, etc
- Team Player
- Similar work experience preferred
- Proven self-starter able to use initiative and innovative thinking
