BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYSTS STUDY THE OVERALL BUSINESS AND INFORMATION NEEDS OF AN ORGANIZATION, IN ORDER TO DEVELOP SOLUTIONS TO BUSINESS AND RELATED TECHNOLOGY PROBLEMS. A BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST\'S ROLE IS USUALLY UNDERTAKEN PRIOR TO THE SYSTEM DESIGN, BUILDING AND PROGRAMMING STAGES OF THE SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT PROCESS. THE BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST WORKS CLOSELY WITH CLIENTS TO IDENTIFY BUSINESS NEEDS AND THE COSTS AND BENEFITS OF IMPLEMENTING A COMPUTING SOLUTION. CONSTRUCT IT DEFINITIONS BASED ON IDENTIFIED NEEDS OF THE ORGANIZATION. WORK WITH OTHER IT EXPERTS TO ADDRESS NETWORKING AND HARDWARE NEEDS. DEVISE AND DOCUMENT A GENERAL SYSTEM DESIGN BASED ON THE CLIENT\'S ANTICIPATED REQUIREMENTS. NEGOTIATE OPTIONS WITH THE CLIENT.

Job Description
The IPD Process and Business Systems Analyst provides process development in support of the Infrastructure Management Group's (IMG) transformation to a service centric operating model with an overarching goal of providing dependable delivery of all IMG services. The analyst will collaborate with a matrixed team of IMG members under the direction of the Director of Process Development and Alignment.

Current project focus:
Documenting the request fulfillment processes for IMG delivery of Infrastructure Services and developing into workflow for use in Remedy 7.6 Service Request Management (SRM)
Improvement of existing infrastructure delivery process in order to streamline the process prior to implementation in Remedy 7.6 SRM.
Developing and supporting the implementation of Remedy 7.6 to support IMG's request fulfillment processes

Essential Functions:
Facilitates working sessions to document infrastructure delivery processes for use in the development of Remedy 7.6 workflows
Act as a facilitator to assist with identifying and resolving process issues or consolidation efforts.
Represents requirements to the Remedy 7.6 development teams.
Creates process and procedure documentation for use by infrastructure delivery teams and requesters of infrastructure services.
Participates in QA, UAT, and release management activities associated the deployment of workflow in Remedy 7.6
Applies Lean/Six Sigma/ITIL Seven Step Improvement concepts and techniques to process improvement initiatives.
Partners with management, project champions, and process owners to align process improvement initiatives with business objectives.
Develops and manages process oversight
Actively leads or participates in the development of Operating or Service Level Agreements (OLA/SLA)
Develops performance metrics to establish process success.
Identifies sources, gathers, and analyzes data for use in process control and process improvement initiatives.

Minimum number of years of experience required
5 Years working in large complex organizations
3 years Remedy SRM experience
3 years Lean Six Sigma experience - Process Improvement
