Projektbeschreibung
Hyphen have an exciting opportunity to work for a large Insurance client of ours based in Dublin, Ireland for a Business Analyst to work on a 3-6 project.
Travel may be required to other client offices in Ireland. It may be necessary for the role holder to travel to the UK for review sessions with the assignment PM.
Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements
- Produce business process documentation
- Validation of requirements against existing functionality
- Sign off requirements
- Ensure that all chosen documents are written in a language suitable for an IT and business audience
- Ownership of e2e Business Design, ie ensuring that the delivered solution meets business needs, is 'fit for purpose' and is designed to deliver the forecast benefits.
- Ensure that any changes to scope/requirements are managed via Change Control, with the appropriate documentation
- Ensure requirements are traceable throughout design and test, with the appropriate documentation version controlled, eg track changes, for traceability.
- Attend project meetings and provide regular progress and status reports as agreed and appropriate with the Project Manager
- Book and facilitate any required workshops & document output in a structured fashion
Essential Skills:
* Strong, recent Insurance experience
* Experience of working on IT projects.
* Experience in managing or analysing issues within large and complex organisations
* Experience of working on large and complex change programmes
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
* Knowledge of the insurance industry is essential given tight timescales- particularly General insurance.
* Self-motivated and have the ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
* Strong interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively with both technical and business communities
* Knowledge of CPI processes
* Knowledge of Prince2 or similar preferred.
