Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a large organisation just 10 minutes drive from Perth CBD. The selected candidate will ideally have a good understanding of web development (preferably in PHP and Drupal). This is an initial 3 month contract that has the potential to extend.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Document Business Requirements
- Document the Business Case and manage scope changes
- Ensure development is in accordance to the Quality and Configuration strategy
- Define Software/Systems requirements
- Stakeholder Engagement (Analysis and communications)
- Define Work Breakdown Structures
- Create Product Flow Diagrams
- Successfully liaise and consult between the business and development teams to facilitate and/or lead when gathering business, functional, and user requirements
- Present reports on the progress of the project to higher management

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- 5 years experience in a similar Business Analysis role
- Previous experience writing and documenting business cases
- Exposure to web development (PHP and Drupal)
- Data and systems analysis skills
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Have a well developed understanding of procedural business issues
- Expert report writing skills
