Business Analyst (1 Year Contract)

JOB DESCRIPTION
OVERALL
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The Business Analyst is responsible for providing business solutions/consultation to our external/internal clients through the enhancement of IFDS products and functionality or process re- engineering. Business analysts are key participants in the project life cycle from initiation to production. Business analysts are required to liaise between our clients and internal Business Teams to ensure that detailed requirements are understood and documented, to facilitate the building or modifying of our application code to meet client needs. Business analysts are also engaged in new client launches, conversions, activation of products/functionality and support of Production issues.

GENERAL ROLES process analysis; investigation of existing functionality; gap analysis, preparation of Project Management and SDLC documents, participation in design of new functionality; ensure functionality/products satisfy the legal, regulatory and client requirements. Utilization of industry best practices to ensure usability, scalability, maintainability.
- Participate in project walkthroughs: business requirements, design walkthrough, functional test plans and implementation sessions.
- Perform product testing to ensure product quality is maintained.
- Contribute to the implementation of new products and communicate effectively between internal and external stakeholders to ensure product satisfaction is maintained.
- Assist in identifying functional or operational gaps in the self-service products through competitive analysis, monitoring industry trends and prioritizing customer's requests
- Maintain product documentation including user guides, implementation guides and product information.
- Subject matter experts on iFAST products and functionality
- Mentor and coach other team members
