Our client is urgently looking for a strong Business analyst with experience in finance, risk, BPM (Business process Management) to work on a critical project in Belgium. A successsful candidate will have strong skills in Business Analysis, finance, risk and BPM.
The client is going through a large transformation program in which most of its Legacy systems are being replaced by new technologies. As part of this transformation program, a new contract system needs to be incorporated into the company and connected to the rest of the Back Office systems.
This program will also have its impact on the Finance & Risk applications and for this part, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with Project Management experience in order to manage the changes to the DWH, the In- & Excasso systems and our General Ledger.
Responsibilities:
*Overall coordination of changes to the Finance & Risk applications, including the management of the budget and reporting on the progress of the project towards the program
*Gathering requirements from the different Business departments, follow up on the implementation and tests, report back towards the program concerning the progress and issues
*Coordinate the workload for the other business analysts and plan ahead in order to avoid bottlenecks due to resource problems
*Analyze the gaps in the new contract system and assess together with the program how to solve them
*Coordinate with other Change and Business departments in order to set up an efficient end-to-end process
*Follow up on the Quality Assurance within the project and make sure that all internal procedures and regulations are respected.
*Prepare training material and organize trainings and user documentation to roll out the new changes
Knowledge and experience
*Master degree (Commercial Engineering, Applied Economics, Trade and Financial Sciences, Physical Sciences) or equivalent experience.
*Experience with insurance and a good knowledge of products, processes and systems in an insurance environment.
Skills specific
- Extensive knowledge of finance and risk
- Proven business analysis experience
- Knowledge of BPM (Business Process Management)
- Good knowledge of project management best practices and some on-hands experience
Skills General
- Critical and analytical mind.
- Born organizer and has the necessary diplomatic talents.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong dose of persuasion.
- Finds solutions to problems and you like a structured and organized approach.
- Natural drive to improve and innovate.
