Building Surveyor - SC Clearance required - Fife - £250-300/day - 8 months

My client is seeking a Building Surveyor in Fife, Scotland on an 8 months contract assignment. Candidates must hold SC Clearance to be considered for this appointment.

Building Surveyors work routinely involves providing estimates of costs for replacement buildings, advising on development appraisals and advising on cost and specification proposals. You will have an excellent knowledge of building services and a good technical background in services for a wide variety of buildings.

Responsibilities:
+ Applying for planning permission
+ Writing user requirements documents
+ Reviewing designs
+ Acceptance of works
+ Raising new works ordrers
+ Auditing and assurance
+ Performance reporting and Stakeholder management

The individual will be responsible for specifying, evaluating designs for and monitoring electrical works, utilising a high degree of technical knowledge. They will be responsible for Project Management of allocated tasks and ensuring technical lead and quality assurance. They will also be responsible for conducing audits.
