- Strong European Payments background,
- The Building Block Architect is responsible for the end-to-end (from business to infrastructure) Design of architectures for one or more Building Blocks
- The Building Block Architect is able to work across different functional domains since Building Blocks themselves can extend across multiple domains.
- The Building Block Architect develops solutions that are fully integrated and work together in the existing application landscape in order to computerize a business function.
- The Building Block Architect proposes architecture Roadmaps, which give direction to the change Agenda for a Building Block. He is drives the creation and implementation of the Roadmap and Is capable to mentor the Solution Architects.
- In case of an Agile/Scrum realization, the Building Block Architect is part of the solution panel.
- A Building Block Architect has a comprehensive overview of enterprise solutions, including an Understanding of operational costs, security, performance engineering.
