Build & Release Engineer (Microsoft TFS)

Looking for a build and release engineer to join one of my clients, a leading technology firm in Chicago. You will be a joining a group of enthusiastic technologists that are passionate about their web and software releases.

Responsibilities include:

* Product development using TFS 2012 and InstallShield
* Develop policies and procedures governing the branching, merging, etc. of source code knowledge of the Microsoft ALM
* Ensure build quality and source code integrity across all products and for all customers
* Develop and maintain the deployment process (shell and database scripts, etc) for all products and customers
* Implement and maintain a continuous integration environment for all products
* Support engineering and QA use of Microsoft and other technologies such as Windows Server, SharePoint, and SQL

Requirements:

* 2 years experience administering TFS 2010 or 2012
* Build Automation Process experience- MSBuild
* Experience in a continuous integration environment
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* Familiarity with multi-tier application server deployment and maintenance

Nice to have:

* MCSD: Application Lifecycle Management certification
* Knowledge of software testing methods including automated unit testing (NUnit, JUnit, MSTest, etc.)
* Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall processes
* Ability to write compiled and/or scripted code
