Build & Release Engineer (m/f)

IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Responsibility for researching ways to improve the software building process and for sharing production information with Technology teams with focus on providing solutions for builds, releases and controls throughout the software lifecycle.
-Experienced in a variety of computer programming languages in order to build these applications accurately.
-Maintain and build automation scripts.
-Knowledge of various release procedures. Part of the responsibilities will be to understand and support DevOps culture.
-Scripting, documentation, process definition and automation are primary tasks, as is interacting with Site Operation team and other Technology teams.
-Deployment automation and version management will be a large part of this position.

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Full software development lifecycle experience working in Agile environments
-Solid exposure to working effectively in a diverse technical team with minimal supervision
-Strong enthusiasm and creativity to solve challenging technical problems
-Familiar with Agile / Kanban Methodology
-Experienced in programming Shell scripts
-Experience in Python or similar is a plus
-Build automation and release tools are also required, including Jenkins, Maven or similar
-Familiar with Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible, FishEye, etc.)
-Experienced with Source Control Systems (GIT - Gitorious, GitHub)
-Preferable experience in using modern deployment tools such as Puppet
-Experience in developing continuous builds for a Continuous Delivery
